Brown & Root, the previous owners of Howard Humphreys set up Howard Humphreys’ Project & Construction Management division in Nairobi back in 1997 with the objective of becoming the leading project and construction managers in East Africa.

Howard Humphreys has over the years adopted a ‘management-by-projects’ approach to running its business. This has enabled the firm to set up systems and build expertise in its staff compliment that is necessary in providing Project Management services.

Besides the systems already set up as standard procedures for auditing, tracking, reporting and controlling projects, Howard Humphreys has invested in appropriate software such as Virtual Manager and Primavera Project Planner (P3).

The Company employs professionals with diverse technical knowledge and experience in contractual matters, planning and scheduling, cost management and control, construction management, ICT, quantity surveying, accounting, and engineering design.

Following the Howard Humphreys business strategy, Strategic Plan 2009-2013, the Project Management service line is well under way in expanding its services to include packages that could also be purchased singly or in combination by other consultants and contractors as well.
